I woke up on the island completely alone, awakened by the realization that there would be no escape.

I'm here for life.

And on my thirteenth day here, I started to see some things I can't explain.

There were footprints in the sand in places where I had not gone before.

I followed them for some time.

They lead into the vines.

I stepped into a clearing where grasses grew, all the while fearing what I already knew, for in the center of it all: a hole.

A hole as wide as I am tall.

And looking over the edge, I saw my own eyes staring back at me.

And now the only thing I spy, the only thing I see, is the sky.
